Her past WILL HAUNT YOU. Get spooky with book experiment #2!
My self-proclaimed expert at digging is ready to unearth secrets...
Now, most of Fable's secrets involve checking the hole three blocks down where she found a discarded chicken bone two years ago.
This dog refuses to remember what "drop it" or "come" mean -- but she remembers every location where she found a "treasure" from the time she was 5 months old. She also remembers every location where a cat snuck up on her -- two, to be precise -- and remains suspicious of that one bush to this very day.
And I'm not going to lie, the vibe of long memories and buried secrets -- wrapped in spite and the urge to bite those who thwart us -- takes us into Book Experiment #2.
In the dark supernatural western world of Mayweather McCreedy, the present holds more secrets than a grave does dirt.
Her grave, I should say.
Which was never supposed to be permanent.
She went into the earth to save her town and everyone she loved, and she believed her beloved marshal and his fellows would dig her up as soon as they'd secured victory. That didn't happen. And as she stumbles into the modern version of the town she left behind, she'll face a world where the west is once again plunged into lawlessness, where would-be rulers squabble over land and regular people are trapped by powers they can't control.
To save them -- to save herself -- she has to find a place with the family she thought lost. And, worst of all, work with the descendant of the man who betrayed her.
Welcome to EXPERIMENT #2.
I am completely torn over what to call this book, so please lend me your thoughts! I need your BRAINS!
I hope you enjoy the first three chapters of this book experiment! They insisted on being written in first person present tense -- but like my zombieverse novels, there's a healthy slice of undead shenanigans. I mean, what else is a girl to do when she wakes up in a grave?
Luv,
Dee
ps. Having discovered that Meta scraped 10 of my books to train its AI without permission or compensation, I'm leveling up my copyright statements. They now include oddly specific curses. Enjoy! (And please share any oddly specific curses you have, because I have a lot more AI warnings to write).
