A chihuahua made a wish

When the perfect description emerges at the perfect moment...

Hubs and I were out with his friend and friends new girlfriend. We were doing the couple thing of chatting about kids and pets, when new girlfriend (who's lovely) asked me what Fable is like.

"She's great," I said with a laugh, "but spicy, if you know what I mean?"

New girlfriend did not know. 

But she did a few years of veterinary study, so she asked great questions. 

I answered as best I could, talking about Fabes' big personality and how she's a rare big dog who knows she's big. Then I paused for a moment as inspiration struck and I said, "It's like a chihuahua made a wish."

If you ever wondered what it takes to make my hubs and his buddy simultaneously spit out their drinks, that's it.

I took a bow.

And I'm pleased to tell you that my wish-fulfillment-chihuahua kept me company on a mini retreat I took up the coast. We hung out at the beach, and soaked in some sun. 

I hope June is treating you well, and I'm excited to invite you back into the world of The Pandora Strain.
